I Like Her More and More

I’m so glad Jessica is out there.

Their new feature — Friday Feminist Fuck You — is great. There is something very powerful about young smart happy women saying Fuck You to the anti-feminist powers that be.

Here’s the first video — it’s very cute and spot-on. I’m not surprised it’s given birth to a Facebook fan-group.

I always thought I was above “girl-crushes” but I recently fell totally in love with Marion Cotillard, because of her Oscar-acceptance speech. Was any woman ever more adorable?

Watch Jessica’s Friday Fuck You — it’s funny too.

Gonna have to disagree with you about that. She said it was a Valentine’s Day issue of a high school newspaper. And the article that had a picture of a vagina in it was meant to raise awareness about violence against women.

An article about violence against women, in a Valentine’s Day issue of a high school newspaper? Does that seem appropriate? That was a giant “fuck you” to the entire student body, in my opinion. Not “cute” or “spot on” at all.

  2. By the way, why would raining on everyone’s Valentine’s Day celebrations with an article about violence against women be considered “feminism”? What kind of feminist is it who hates Valentine’s Day with such a passion?

  3. Craig, first of all, feminism and V-day have little to nothing to do with each other. Second, publishing an article on domestic violence does not destroy anyone’s V-day celebrations. Third, there is no mention or implication of hating V-day with “such a passion.” Fourth, you’re an idiot.

  4. Wow, Craig, if promoting awareness of domestic violence kills your V-Day buzz, do you avoid national news on V-Day, major holidays, your birthday, etc.? Who knew that happiness went along with being singularly uninformed?

  5. Apostate,

Craig, first of all, feminism and V-day have little to nothing to do with each other.

Exactly. So why did that school choose to publish an article highlighting violence against women, on the day that is chosen to celebrate romance between men and women?

Second, publishing an article on domestic violence does not destroy anyone’s V-day celebrations.

On the contrary – it seems tome that was the intent.

Third, there is no mention or implication of hating V-day with “such a passion.”

Yes, actually, there is. Militant feminists have been lesbians for as long as I’ve been alive, and I was around when tyhe feminist movement began here in the US. You were neither alive, nor in the US. If you choose to believe that man-hating lesbians are “feminists” that is up to you, just don’t expect everyone else to go along with you on that. Even most women don’t believe militant man-hating lesbians represent their aspirations. Most women actually don’t hate men.

    Fourth, you’re an idiot.

Thanks. I begin to see why your blog is so popular. Have a nice life… I won’t be back. Your a bit too abusive and a bit too crazy for my taste.

  6. Craig, as they say, don’t let the door hit you in the ass.
